Thailand Holidays

The appeal of Thailand holidays never seems to diminish and it now receives a staggering twenty-nine million visitors each year and is ranked the tenth top tourist destination in the world. Twenty-nine million people can not be wrong, so what is the attraction? Thailand is a large country with a huge number of attractions that are as diverse as sandy beaches and shopping, to Buddhist Temples and elephant trekking. It is the variety of activities that gives the country its broad appeal. Couples of all ages, families and young adults can all enjoy a holiday in this exotic destination. It is a favourite destination for honeymooners. Located in south east Asia, this large country has a mainly savannah climate which is tropical wet and dry. The south and east of the country experiences a tropical monsoon climate. The cool dry season is from November to February when temperatures lie in the late twenties. This is followed by the hot dry season from March to May when the mercury rises into the low thirties. As you can see, Thailand is ideal for those who wish to escape the long dark days of winter. The rainy season is from May to October.
